It's Halloween time!

featured It's Halloween time!

I woke up yesterday morning to see this fellow in my kitchen, hanging out above my kitchen table. He is about the size of a half dollar and we call them Pumpkin spiders because they always arrive around this time of year.

This is the first one I've seen in the house... he will be going back outside sometime today...

Yikes! I hope they're not poisonous. You're so nice to take it outside. My cats would have eaten it by now.

No, they aren't poisonous, just creepy. They are actually beautiful spiders, when they are outside...

I can't see what you write in the description it's white on white background ? But I guess you took him outside by what Millie said !!! But when I go on full size I can read it .........He has a whole web there, we have the same thing here they tend to show up at the end of summer but they have never got in the house. Great macro of him : )

Sorry that the text showed up like that. I'll try to fix it...

I haven't taken him outside yet. It's fascinating to watch him but will take him outside soon. Just dawned on me that it might have babies... eek.
