Can We All Look at Leigh Lezark's Coat For a Minute??

WOW! I remember going to the zoo when I was younger and chasing all the peacocks around in hopes they would lose a feather or two. By the end of the trip I would end up with a small handful...but this is something else though!

Thoughts?

Dolce & Gabbana 2010 Collection Hit Up The 1920s

The spring 2010 Dolce & Gabbana line promises promisqueity in these lil lacy get ups. OH HEY BODYSUITS!!!

Now THIS is what I like to see! Rose printed body suits= yesss! The rest of the line is very classy and vintage, basically reworking the 1920s into a more current yet still vintage look. Its said their influences ranged from "Modonna to South America". The collection features lingerie transformed to outerwear subtle leopard/floral prints, denimen, and LOTS + LOTS + LOTS of lace!

Alright so what's the verdict? Sultry or slutty?? Elegant or overdone??

Lace up with Lace High Tops! YAY or NAY?

married-to-the-mob-lacoste

This shoe is as style-mashed as its designers.

Married to the MOB and Lacoste collaborated together and came up with this lacey high top Horonia sneaker, as a tribute to Christian Louboutin.

Its super girly, I think! It kinda punches up a sporty look to a girly one. But on another level it doesn't really work at the same time. Like what would you even wear with this? It would either really dress down a diva-esque look or look out of place for a sporty look. I guess you have to be super stylish at finding the perfect marriage between the two!

I would totally rock these everyday..but im not sure if anyone else would?

They're a cute idea, but do you think they work?

Modern Day Marie Antoinette Hair.

I have been really inspired by Kirsten Dunst in Marie Antoinette all of a sudden. I love the soft pink and pretty messy curls pinned up with flowers and feathers. P.s this is my favorite jacket ever. One of my hairstylist's gave it to me. It was his mom's in the 70s and she saved up for a month to buy it, such a cool history. That is my favorite part of vintage clothing. I think I will be wearing this look to New York City tomorrow for the biggest meeting of my life! No pressure though.

I love it so much. How can you not?

Dazed & Confused Has a Manic Panic Editorial to Dye For!

The new Dazed & Confused has this colorful editorial which I fell in love with! I love the mix of natural hair color and grown out faded look! This look is a dazzled version of Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind.

I wonder if the models really dyed there hair or if there wigs and extensions?

I did this 6 years ago and I love how its evolved!

From rags to riches....not really I think she has always been riches. Lily Allen from wearing a DIY style Chanel tshirt to gracing the new Chanel campaigns. I think the marker Chanel tshirt is kinda rad, I think im going to copy her and make one.. The campaign is deffinetly not my favorite of them all.

Do you think Lily deserves to be face of Chanel? Would you sport a DIY Chanel shirt?

Flashback to the eighties with high-impact eyes and extreme color! I am loving these looks. Makes me want to watch flash dance and listen to pop music while drinking a soda with a straw out of a glass bottle.

Would you ever try these looks out? I can't wait for a new photo shoot so I can rock it.

DIY: Marc Jacobs Mouse Shoes!

Don't have $300 laying around for these beautiful Marc Jacobs mouse shoes? Don't worry I found this rad tutorial showing step by step how to make your own!

1. Gather supplies. Felt, needle & thread, craft glue, and shoes, of course. I used these cute old comfy flats, I got them for $5 from a thrift store.

2. Cut out 4 felt ear shapes, and 4 smaller ear shapes in a contrasting colour. Glue the smaller ear pieces to the larger ones, as shown.

3. Sew a couple of stitches in the bottom corner of the ears, attaching them to the shoe. This is just to hold them in place and secure them a little better. Then fold the ear over and put a little craft glue on it, sticking it down. I attached a little bow on one ear of each of mine.

4. Cut out 4 white eyes & 4 black circles to make the pupils. I also cut out two pink triangles to make noses.

So cute! You can use all different colors or supplies depending on the look you are going for!

Bodysuits and leotard love!

Me and my dear friend Ashley Paige at the Juliette Lewis show in Hollywood. I love bodysuits! I think there even better for winter with tights and a shag jacket. You can get old vintage dance suits at your local thrift stores and bedazzle them, or try the new remakes. Mine is from a vintage shop and i was $7!

How do you feel about this look?

Cat Eye Sunglasses Get a Modern Makeover!

Cat eye frames are the newest yet oldest! shape du jour, and designers are definitely having some fun playing around with this classic '50s staple. For their spring 2010 shows, Alexander Wang, Giles Deacon, and Miuccia Prada revealed oversized versions of the frames in statement-making colors like gold, hot pink, and orange. Yes, looking like a Pink Lady just got a bit easier.

I am loving this trend! Its a nice breathe of fresh air from the Ray Ban explosion!

Would you rock this modern day cat frames?

Christina's New Look! LOVE it or LOATHE it??

Christina Aguilera does the 'retro' look pretty well. She's been all over it for like a decade now. Looks like she's ditching the retro and onto the future.

"The vein of the new material is a futuristic take on what is inspiring me at the moment ... and it's got a very pop-art feel, visually,"

We're all for reinvention, Christina, but people are starting to wonder if she's hoping on the Lady Gaga bandwagon with this new look.

 I rest my case.

I mean...its similar enough to turn some heads but she was pretty cutting edge before Gaga even hit the fan. What do you think of her new look? Is futuristic fashion taking over one celeb at a time?

IS THIS MY DESTINY??

The Pink Lady claims to have worn only pink clothes for the last 25 years and to keep from getting bored with the color, she changes the shades and tries to approach different styles, like country, glamour, rock ‘n’ roll, etc. She even paints her 4-year-old Maltese dog, Kisses, using beetroot juice baths.

She takes her obsession with pink to the extreme, going to funerals dressed from head to toe in the popular color and even dumping a guy because he was colorblind and couldn’t appreciate the beauty of pink.

But The Pink Lady says she’s happy with her life and loves it when complete strangers stop her on the street to give her their pink earrings and scarfs and fans send her pink stuff all the time.

I am not going to lie... I would like to shop in her closet :(

Creepy or amazing?

LILY ALLEN JEWELRY LINE.

Not sure if you heard but Lily Allen is quitting the music scene [insert shock here!]. Thats a sad waste of talent.
But at least she's not giving up on her creative side!! She's rerouting her creativity and gearing it towards...FASHION! Welcome to the dark side, Silly Allen :)
She plans on creating her very own fashion and jewelery lines.
No official word on plans for her clothes, but as for the jewelry: the collection is said to be comprised of nine different styles, including coins, medallions, flowers, traffic signs, acid faces, girl charms, fruit, animals and poodles.

Lily Allen's jewellery collection

I kinda like Lily and I think there quite cute!

Are you into this? Do you think her fashion career will even come to close to the success of her music?

HOLLYWOOD BLVD. GET YOUR GLAM ON.

Last week I interviewed people on Hollywood Blvd about Twilight. We took a few snap shots while we were up there. I totally did not think out my outfit. It looks inspired by Wonder Women, it definitely was not. A bunch of people thought I was dressed up as a character. An asian couple who did not even speak English wannted a photo once and tiped me 5 dollars for it! Worst case I could always hang on Hollywood blvd as myself for a job? I bet its dog eat dog out there. You got your young sexy cat women and across the street the older.. not-so-sexy version, both fighting for there fame and tips. Darwinism at its best.

More photos here!

Has anyone else seen the documentry about the Hollywood Blvd characters? Its strange and kinda upsetting. When I watched it I felt really sad.

DIY: MIU MIU KNEE HIGHS!

I was browsing through Nylon online today and I saw this article thats genius! I am totally doing this over Thanksgiving day weekend.

Miu Miu clothes fly off the racks at record speeds, and even girls who can afford the $425 price tag of Miu Miu's cool legwear still have to track them down before they sell out.

alternative?  Make them yourrselves.  Here's what to do:

1.  Take a pair of heavy wool or cotton socks

2.  Buy packs of sequins and beads from your local craft store,  Keep the color palette tight - silvers, rose-golds, very light pinks, black, and clear baubles only.

3.  Break out a needle and thread, and gently sew the sequins in clusters.  Make sure you don't sew anything on the sock's foot, or you won't be able to walk!

4.  Wear them around.  Make people jealous.  You know the drill.

Looks great in tights too!

Brilliant Idea! Is anyone else going to try this?

Ducky Shoes: ADORABLE or REDICULOUS??

Mallard Heels

WHAT. THE. HECK. I don't know whether to shudder or laugh!! These twisted suede maryjanes already rock a rather duck-like profile, aside from the freakin MALLARD HEAD at the toes!! I bet they would be funny to own just for the irony, but these crazy kicks will set you back a good $350. Let me repeat that THREE HUNDRED FIFTY, from Anthropologie [more like Apology, for THAT severe rip-off].

Do you think these are cute or wierd?? Where would you wear these? (maybe if your a preschool teacher!)
