Heavy Metal Jeans.
I am not a jean person..in fact I don't even think I own a pair. After seeing this photo from London fashion week I think I might have to invest in a pair and get my spikes out. I am totally inspired to make a DIY pair of these. One question though.... How do you sit?? What do you think about these Heavy Metal Jeans?

Everything is Disposable.
Photo: Nhat Nguyen Check out the rest of my photos from this shoot HERE! Im in my kitchen cooking vegan corn muffins and home made orange cranberry sauce. Im really excited for Thanksgiving! Last year I started getting really ill around this time and couldnt eat anything...so I am celebrating this time around! I know a lot of you have asked me about vegan recipes. You can take any normal one and replace each egg with about 1/4 cup of apple sauce. Also instead of using milk use rice or soy milk! If these come out good I will post the recipe for you guys. Are any of you guys baking tonight or tomorrow?!

Getting THANKFUL for Fashion!Thanksgiving is TOMMORROW! Have you transitioned your closets into winter-mode yet? If you're still kicking it in your summer/fall clothes NO WORRIES! Dress up the dinner table instead! The online mag Flamboyant cooked up the idea of designer breads. I'm thinking the West Family will diffinately be breaking some Louis V bread. How Kanye. What designer are YOU most thankful for?

The Faded Hair look.
Yoshiko Kajitani
Katie Shillingford I am loving this faded hair look. You know when you see people who dyed there hair blonde 6 months ago and they have 5 inch dark roots? Thats not a good way to pull of this trend. I have always done it backwards...pink to white. The white to colors looks really chic without trying to hard. You could wear a boring outfit and still stand out and look edgy. It makes me miss my lavendar tips.... Would you ever try this faded look? What other combinations of colors would look cool with this?

Miley Cyrus Spike Collar!
Now I wouldn't say I take fashion tips from Miley Cyrus but this spike collar she is wearing is AMAZING! I need to get my hands on one asap. At first I was really confused why she was wearing it... then I realized this is from the set of Sex In The City 2. Patricia Fields got a hold of her and i like it! Would you wear a necklace that resembled a dog collar?? Or is that just me and Miley? Source: Starcasm

November 24, 2009STUDS in STUDSAlmost always a subtle accessory weaving in and out of popularity, it looks like studs & zips are coming back again BIG TIME. Studs & zippers are EVERYWHERE these days! I mean, how could punk rock EVER not be in style?? It is immortally "cool".
Of course...you could splurge on these hot new items and feel all covertly top dollar. OR you could get the SAME LOOK rediculously on the cheap. And still look hot. Wins all around! I am loving metal and studs....always have. I feel like everything I own is getting studs and jems put on! I can't stop!! Alright punks time to whip out those bedazzelers. Are you into this trend?

Lady Gaga Best Buy Appearance.
I have always said THE BIGGER THE BETTER! In this case I will have to take that back. There is a fine line between art and tacky. I think this is crossing the line.. I hate it. But I still love you Gaga no hard feelings! Do you think this bigger then life look is hot? Source: Dailymail

New York City!
My manager flew into Philly last night so we could go up to New York City for meetings today! Everything went great..it was a good day. I got tons of new supplies. I was starving and ate some sketchy Indian food that I am now kinda regretting. Those are my new Betsey leggins that I love and for some reason I have been wearing feather boas as scarfs?
Inspiration? Something along the line of this! Those shoes are a whole other story... Im so exhausted im making a pineapple smoothie, taking a bath and trying to get some sleep! Feather boas as scarfs? YES or HELL NO?

TREND WATCH! The Harness Necklace: The next big thing??
Slowly [EXTREMELY slowly more like] but surely these "harness necklaces" have just been creeping into the fashion scene. Mostly in simpler variations but still the whole 'around the neck / behind the back' idea. If you can manage to rock this without it looking awkwardly placed [via boobs] then go for it! Would you?? How interesting!! I think we deffinately need more inovation in fashion these days. Stop being so SAFE! Start taking risks! Start inventing new trends! Don't be afraid of failure or ending up on the "don't" list. Because its nearly impossible to make a difference for looking exactly like everyone else. Source: Leviticus Jewelry

Can We All Look at Leigh Lezark's Coat For a Minute??
WOW! I remember going to the zoo when I was younger and chasing all the peacocks around in hopes they would lose a feather or two. By the end of the trip I would end up with a small handful...but this is something else though! Thoughts?

November 23, 2009Dolce & Gabbana 2010 Collection Hit Up The 1920sThe spring 2010 Dolce & Gabbana line promises promisqueity in these lil lacy get ups. OH HEY BODYSUITS!!!
Now THIS is what I like to see! Rose printed body suits= yesss! The rest of the line is very classy and vintage, basically reworking the 1920s into a more current yet still vintage look. Its said their influences ranged from "Modonna to South America". The collection features lingerie transformed to outerwear subtle leopard/floral prints, denimen, and LOTS + LOTS + LOTS of lace!
Alright so what's the verdict? Sultry or slutty?? Elegant or overdone?? Source: Coutorture
p.s.! if you liked this post, check out my thoughts on body suits & Rose floral patterns.

Lace up with Lace High Tops! YAY or NAY?
This shoe is as style-mashed as its designers. Married to the MOB and Lacoste collaborated together and came up with this lacey high top Horonia sneaker, as a tribute to Christian Louboutin. Its super girly, I think! It kinda punches up a sporty look to a girly one. But on another level it doesn't really work at the same time. Like what would you even wear with this? It would either really dress down a diva-esque look or look out of place for a sporty look. I guess you have to be super stylish at finding the perfect marriage between the two! I would totally rock these everyday..but im not sure if anyone else would? They're a cute idea, but do you think they work? source: thelipstickdiaries

Modern Day Marie Antoinette Hair.
I have been really inspired by Kirsten Dunst in Marie Antoinette all of a sudden. I love the soft pink and pretty messy curls pinned up with flowers and feathers. P.s this is my favorite jacket ever. One of my hairstylist's gave it to me. It was his mom's in the 70s and she saved up for a month to buy it, such a cool history. That is my favorite part of vintage clothing. I think I will be wearing this look to New York City tomorrow for the biggest meeting of my life! No pressure though.
I love it so much. How can you not?

Dazed & Confused Has a Manic Panic Editorial to Dye For!
The new Dazed & Confused has this colorful editorial which I fell in love with! I love the mix of natural hair color and grown out faded look! This look is a dazzled version of Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind. I wonder if the models really dyed there hair or if there wigs and extensions? I did this 6 years ago and I love how its evolved! Source: Refinery29

From rags to riches....not really I think she has always been riches. Lily Allen from wearing a DIY style Chanel tshirt to gracing the new Chanel campaigns. I think the marker Chanel tshirt is kinda rad, I think im going to copy her and make one.. The campaign is deffinetly not my favorite of them all. Do you think Lily deserves to be face of Chanel? Would you sport a DIY Chanel shirt?
