Crème de la Crap

Colors can clash. Patterns can clash. STYLES can clash!!!

untitled-4.jpg picture by roxxiiheart

There is just waaaaay too much going on here in a bad way...ruffles, cargo pockets, bell sleeves, and the upper half of a hoodie all IN ONE LITTLE DRESS? I love over the top but this is a little much. Might have to do with my serious hate for bell sleeves.

This happens all the time. people really like an idea or a style so they try to sport it...along with like FIVE other styles. I'm betting if you lose the pockets, the hood, the sleeves and add a cute belt this would be totally wearable. But i'm going to have to give a big fat NO to the current state of this unflattering garmet :(

Death to the bell sleeves!

Ashley Olsen sporting blue streaks at MOMA Tribute to Tim Burton.

I have and alway will be an Olsen fan. I just love them, to me they can do no wrong. Last night Ashley was out in New York City sporting some light blue grey streaks in her hair. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

If I had natural color hair I would for sure pull this look off.

Are you feeling the blue grey streaks? How do you feel about the Olsens?

Leopard prints and a passion for rings.

Right now I can not get anough of baggy over sized clothing with tights...and large leopard coats. For jewls I would say rings! Even if your feeling crappy and have an old tshirt on..if you have two hands full of vintage unique rings you will feel fabulous. Bring in the rings.

Are you a fan of rings? Do you collect any? I had tons but I got rid of a lot so now I have room to find new ones!

Guyliner + Manscara: HOT or HORRIBLE???

Of course eyeliner on a dude is NOT a new thing. But I been doing a little thinking... is this edgy/fierce or just plain stupid?

"There is a trend emerging from the rock world that's filtering to the street," says McKay. "When you look at people like Adam Lambert from American Idol, he's androgynous and willing to wear makeup and shows men that other men look quite good."

"Men in eyeliner is not as bizarre as you'd think. In evolution, a lot of animals have a dark rim around their eye. It's just evolved from nature."

-Jane McKay, senior makeup artist with M.A.C Cosmetics

Is guyliner sexy or rediculous?

I personaly say rediculous. I don't want to share my makeup kit and fight over the mirror with my boyfriend in the morning....but in some small and rare circumstances I will be up for it. Unless your David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust or Marc Bolan forget it, although this is not even in the same relm. This is just wrong.

Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary book!

Today I woke up feeling a little better, thank goodness because I had the shoot for the Hello Kitty fashion book. Im not sure when its release date is, but I do know it will be in book stores. I started to get my hair and makeup done around 10am. We went for the soft pearls and pinks for the eye makeup and pretty crimps for the hair. We got to the studio space around noon and were super late due to traffic. Everyone at Sanrio was really rad. I got changed and fixed up in the bathroom where I lost my purse. I had a slight panic attack only to realize we were the only ones there.

More behind the scenes kitty photos here!

The shoot was really quick, I was expecting to be there all afternoon. After I changed we headed to this Temple for vegan food. They had this little gift shop full of colorful candels and trinkets. I could only eat the white rice because my stomach is still a bit weak. I am home now about to take a detox bath and make some tea. There are a few fun events tonight.. Im not sure if im going to stop by or not. I need to be top shape for New York City on Monday.

Would you ever buy a book about Hello Kitty?

Forever21 Hits The DISCO!!

Looks like Forever21 is twisting it up + gettin down and funky.

On their part this is smart. Their using elements of already popular trends to tie along with this new disco look. Like platform heels, metalics, leather jackets, sequins! and sparkles! and glitter! OH MY!!

Do you guys think its time we revive the disco era?? are you feelin' this?

I am a fan of afros, and all things that sparkle. Thumbs up!

Clearing the air.

I feel like I need to write this for ME. I do not need to explain myself to anyone. Im trying to turn my blog into a more fashion life style blog for me. When you blog about yourself everyday for years you get exhausted of that. I know I don't have to..but you guys love it and I don't mind :) I will still be posting about my everyday life but also the things I love.. such as fashion. As I get older I would like to grow and reinvent myself 100 times if need be. I am not doing this because anyone told me to. It was MY idea. I love fashion and would like to share the things that inspire me with the rest of you. If you think I was told to do this or its a company running my blog... you must really be looking for reason to see me fail. I am control of everything I do. I am a leo. You really think I let anyone tell me what to do? Lets be real guys. Thanks to those who support me. Great things to come.

Much love,

Audrey xoxo

Kristen Stewart at the Twilight New Moon premiere.

I personaly love Kristen Stewart, she is so awkward...in a good way. I think she gets a lot of flack but I like her style. Her hair looks like she just woke up and her dress looks like something out of Rapunzel. Im feeling it.

Do you think she made the right fashion choice?

Love her? Hate her? Don't care about her?

Candy Magazine staring Luke Worrall.

Yes that is Luke Worrall. Kelly Osbourne's soon to be husband. I think they are they custest couple ever, definitely my favorite in Hollywood! Theres a new fashion magazine called Candy celebrating crossdressing and tranny-ism! Some of the world's best took part in this amazing magazine. There is ONLY 1000 copies made worldwide.

I am going to do everything in my power to snatch up one of those 1000 copies!

Hayden Panettiere to bang or not to bang?

Hayden Panettiere was seen out last night with new bangs. I am a lover for all typs of fringe..but in this case I think it ages her way too much. I feel like she is such a pretty younge girl and this makes her look 30.

YAY bangs or NAY bangs?

You guys digging it or not so much?

China Fashion Week: BANDI PANDA!!

A lot of what people see on the runways is waaay too far fetched for real-life wear. but its still super fun to gawk at! Fashion is art. even if your not really into getting all dressed up yourself you gotta admitt the people who DO make things way more interesting.

China's fashion week is CRAZY! Check these jems out from designer Zhao Bandi's "Bandi Panda" collection. Its from a few years ago but still one of my favorites.

Alright so i seriously doubt we'll see anyone breezing down the street in any of these get-ups but i bet we'll be seeing some more realistic Bandi Panda inspired threads! Would you consider wearing a toned-down version of the cottonball scarf/fur skirt/pin stripe shirt?

Look up the rest of his stuff if you get a chance!!

American Apparel selling Big Bows?

Its becoming impossible to escape American Apparel ads, you can't deny it. There's more of those than those dancing life insurance ads! To break it down for American Apparel the goal is for an alternative/futuristic/cutting edge look through the use of keeping their collections simplistic, tight, bare, and not-so-subtly sexual?

I personally am not the biggest American Apparel fan..I think a lot of it is bland and WAY overpriced. You can find the same items but vintage with character for 1/4 the price. Why look like a cookie cutter with a bill to pay?

Bows? There just comming out with bows now? I feel like there a year late on this one.

VELVETFB

Looks familiar, RIGHT??? haha so of course i think its adorable, but a bit old now. Do you think people are gonna make this work? Or not even try?

"It reminds me of their scrunchie ads with the model covered in scrunchies.
And how I never saw anyone wearing a scrunchie outside of that ad."

Lady Pop Crunch.

I woke up yesterday feeling like I was hit by a hurricane. Everyone in this city is sick. I had to work all week and everyone I was around had the flu or was getting over it. I knew I was going to get it..so frustrating. I had to cancel walking in the Hello Kitty fashion show. I was pretty bummed out but last minute they found a stand in for me. Sanrio called today and wants to reshoot my outfit with me in it for the book there putting out! There is lways a silver lining to every dark cloud. Today I was flying to Ohio but had to cancel my flight since I am still sick. I am staying in Hollywood for another week before I head back east. The past few days have consited of indie movies, home made soups, mulled detox teas and baths. I am determined to get better asap! No time for some whack germ to enter my body. Right now im drinking some miso soup and watching My Girl. Being sick sometimes can be a nice little vacation from life.

Check out my gallery from behind the scenes of the Junior Drake filming last week! Click here!

I can't wait to go up to New York next week for meetings. I am really exicited for them..as well as being in New York! I love how my page is set up now and I can blog about fashion all day. Since im in Los Angeles this week tomorrow night I might be on a chosen host committee for the vintage swap of What Comes Around Goes Around. It is seriously crazy to me that companys and legit sources are recognizing me as a style expert. Growing up I was always the odd one out because of my style. Don't get me wrong I always was in fights with my parents about what i was wearing or doing to my hair. I can not blame them, I look back at photos of me over the years and I can not help but think ...What the hell was I thinking. We all have to go through stages to find out who we really are. If we stayed the same we would never grow as people. If you love something, work hard and stick to it, the universe will take care of the rest.

My two kittys in my living room.

Last night was the big MOCA Galla and Lady Gaga performed. What do you guys think of her get up? Im not the biggest fan of it. BUT I do admire her individuality...just not feeling the intense eye and lip at the same time, overkill!

Love and glitter,

Indian styles are in!

Indian headdress and face paint seem to be in. I started making some rad headdress with leather type material and swarovski crystals, not to mention the pastel feathers. I seem to be on the right track. I think feathers are fabulous and so does the amazing Juliette Lewis.

Will you be sporting any Indian inspired headwear?

P.S If you find anything about this entry offensive you need to chill out and stop taking everything so personal. This is about fashion, NOT you.

The Satin Trouser vs. Mom Jeans

momjeans.jpg picture by roxxiiheart

Introducing.. THE Silence & Noise Satin Trouser from Urban Outfitters!! I think the right ideas are all there: cute color, nice material, trendy cut. Realistically though, its sharing too many qualities with mom-jeans. Lets do a quick comparison.

High-wasted (accentuating FUPA)

Typical mom-jean ass

Ankle cut

'Long' Pocket Openings

Waist Pleats

Centered crease down the leg

Without a doubt, I'm sure there are a select few who could totally rock these. If you 6 ft tall and 110 lbs this will be genius...But I'm betting there will be so many more who think they can then end up looking like a fail/trend-ender/mom era 90s.

I'm on the fence. Someone sell me on these!!

Keeps Pretzel sneaks..Salty and Sweet or Stale and old?

When I saw that the shoe brand Keep was putting out pretzel shoes I freked out! I think there so damn cute and me being from philly loving pretzels is just a plus! I think they should do a whole food theme collection. Nachos, popcorn, candy... you know junk food shoes!

Do you think these are worthy of rocking? Or not so much?
