Why Bad Things Happen to Good People.

I am getting ready to head back to the airport again. My fear of flying is getting a lot better. Last week when I was in the airport I picked up a random magazine. I started reading a story about a French actress and how she over came brain tumor and continued to keep acting as she recovered. I don't quite remember her name but she said something that granted me my sanity back. I think the quote went like this ..." When you almost die it can make you really crazy...one minute your fine then you get a headache and you think your on your death bed." Its nice to know its something that comes with the territory.

I didn't sleep well last night so i was sleep thinking. I came across my theroy of why some people create there own missery, while others are handed hardships and over come them. Living in Hollywood you meet a lot of people who seem to have the perfect life. Pretty, rich and pseudo happy. After you get to know them you see this destructive side. Its almost like they get into drugs and bad situations because there bored with perfect. On the other hand there are people who work really hard and seem to always go through hell, yet they keep going. If your one of those people take it as a compliment. The way I see it is, you can not take anything with you when you die. And yes we will all die. Life is a journey and none of us come out alive. No clothing, no cars, no jewelry ,no fame, no house...the only thing you take is your soul. When hard things happen they build character, strength and knowledge. They create a more powerful person. Without these situations you might be the person taking pills or cutting yourself over a boy or a new car. If you can relate to this person....seriously stop, there is no sympathy. Know matter how bad the situation you might be in seems... its probably a good thing in the end, embrace it.

When things seem like the cant get any worse just think...If you can get through this, you can do ANYTHING.

Sorry for the Debbie downer post. I am in a really good mood, I just so happen to have this on my mind today. Time to go pack and get ready for the airport.

P.S I got Advencher Land for the plane.. any good?

Bon Voyage,

Hilary Duff for Nylon Magazine January 2010

Correct me if im wrong but isnt Nylon suppose to be a hip, cutting edge, trend setting fashion magazine? This is the most boring, bland fashion spread I have ever seen. I kinda feel bad for Hillary.... Im not sure whos to blame here.. The stylist? Hillary? or Nylon?

Whats your thoughts on this hideous fashion editorial?

Couture to DYE for

Its looking like as of spring 2010, tie dye will be back and hotter than ever. Tie dye on the run ways? This looks gone from casual to high class (and it only took 40 years!!). Is this a modern hippie's dream come true or a high fashion nightmare?

So what do you think?? Get out your white clothes, time for rediculous DIY fun?? Or Leave it at Woodstock?

I think tie dye can look really fresh and pretty...or really tacky. So if your going to do it....do it right! xoxo

Dolce & Gabbana: Shoes for her Majesty

tapestry-platforms

Massive platforms are all the rage right now!! If only Marie Antionette were around to see THESE.They're so classy and an incredible conversation piece. The velvet bow with crystals along with the ankle strap seriously prove that  its the little things that really count. the royalty pumps ROCK. I totally wish I had these when I was doing my Marie Antionette shoot a little bit ago :(

Alright pretty princesses! What would you wear with these without looking 'too much'??

Beauty In The Let Down.

Rest of the photos from this shoot HERE

I just finished reading my monthly horoscope for December and for Leos it was such a let down. I need to stop reading that stuff I think I let it control me too much. A lot of it is dead on while some of it is just out of control. I got some very positive exiciting news today and I can't wait to dive into it! This time of year is normally very stressful but for once I feel very confident in what im am working twards. Its such a breath of fresh air to have people working with you and not against you. Im enjoying my down time in Ohio but anticipating my return to Hollyweird to start working on a bunch of new and exiciting projects. I found out today im allergic to grass and cauliflower..go figure. No sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no gluten and now no grass or cauliflower? But chocolate and butter is ok... go figure. I kinda like it in a way, teaches me incredible self control. All my favorite foods are unedible now unless I want to spend the night in bed. Not that I need to learn it for food but I think its a good skill for life. Now if only it helped on my shopping impulses..

I am watching Weekend at Bernies and listening to the rain outside. Nothings better then sleeping in the rain.

I may not be there yet, but im closer then I was yesterday. Anything that comes easy wont last. Sometimes I think back to the person I was at 17 who was the only girl that could ride bikes with all the boys, yet was too scared to order a pizza or read out loud in class. I have come a long way and its the journey that is the important part. I never want to reach a top because then were do you go from there?

It's not that I'm so smart, it's just that I stay with problems longer then most.

Non of you are quitters right? Have to stick with it through the thick and thin.

SNEAK PEAK! New Nicholas Kirkwood!!!

This is a sneak peak at the Nicholas Kirkwood spring 2010 collection. These kicks make me weak at the knees! They just have this fierce look to them yet still keeping it girly. These head turners manage to combine the platform with this edgy mod look. These will totally turn a dead outfit into a look to die for.

Would you wear these? I LOVE the green! How long til spring???

Little Jenny VS Blair

Catfight on Gossip Girl! Taylor is not happy that Gossip Girl has been playing Leighton’s music on the show, and they have never asked to play any of her songs. It’s creating a lot of tension on set. The producers have said “The show will support Taylor and her music when the time is right, but her music is not ready yet.” OUCH little J.

Team Taylor or Leighton? ...I want to be team Taylor but to me she trys to hard im going to have to say bring on the Blair Waldorf!

The Mask Trend

Im sure im not the only one noticing lots of lovely ladies wearing delicious masks lately. I think there brilliant. The best way to dress up a boring outfit. You could wear them on your face or your head. I would not recomend this look for the Cinema or somewhere dark... but a dinner party? Yes!

TOO MASK? or NOT TO MASK?

Osborn Design Fair Trade Shoes

The sneakers from Osborn Design are so unique and new! There sold at the Brooklyn Flea, the shoes are created by Carla Venticinque-Osborn and Aaron Osborn, who use only fair trade fabrics, factories, and materials to put them together.

The shoes go for $65 - $130, and since the designs are extremely limited, you can rest assured your friends (or enemies) won't be wearing the same pair you covet.

Im loving the flower print ones! Are these something you could see yourself wearing?

The Future is Where I Want to Be.

These are the Myspace Music banners that will be running all over the site until Christmas. I look like the sore thumb...but what else is new? I am in Ohio right now and its so cold..If I was a douche I would have a snuggie on. I go back to Hollyweird at the end of the week. For now im trying to relax and stay warm. Im noticing a trend in the human race. So many people live in the past. You can not go back there. If you spend all your NOW time thinking about the past...you will have nothing. In a year what will you have to look back on? You wishing it was the past? Then your stuck in this never ending cycle of never being satisfied. All you have is the NOW and to make it everyting you can. Enjoy today, today. Any mistakes you made in the past don't matter anymore.

I woke up today and noticed a ton of bruises...the culprit is my dog Emmie. There love bruises tough so I can't be mad....don't get these confused. Rihanna and Chris Brown did not have love bruises. I think I would give my left arm for Swingers Vegan nachos right now. As much as I hate Hollywood it definitely has its perks. For some reason the most unstable insane people are obsessed with me....i wish I knew why. These people force them self into my life even though I try to push them out...then they show there true legally insane colors. Im always the one left thinking about having to get restarining orders. I must have a invisable sign that says All Loony Bins Welcome!

Today im going to do some Yoga and catch a movie...i might not even get out of my black boot slippers, its one of those days. Don't judge im not that person who goes shopping in Tweety bird pajama pants.

Do you know that person? Tell the to please stop!

P.S Waffle misses you guys!
