Drinking, smoking, and getting high while pregnant? You can't feel sympathy for those kinds of people. If you're in a shit situation like that, with next to no money, and you choose to spend it on drugs and alcohol, I just.. ugh, that is disgusting. How hypocritical. I could go on and on and I'll be ranting about this now, but this video was intense, that's true. Wow, I'll be thinking for a while now.

yes, but, I think the girl in the film did a very good job explaining how hard it was to get yourself out of it. It's impossible to understand those addictions unless you live them...doing things to make money, spending that money to forget what you're doing...the entire point of this is that its a cycle, and the American dream and simple idea of "making good for yourself" aren't as true or easy as they seem.
I know I sound like a baby, but I cried and had to stop watching before the end. And it also scared me really bad, but it woke me up. I never really thought about life that way. Thank you for posting this Audrey...

it's suppposed to be like that; it's supposed to by hypocritical.
it's saying how people who want a better life don't try hard enough and the people who have everything just throw it all away.
it's a very good insight into the problems of society.
